Caroling is the singing of carols in front of the house and the house owner would give coins or treats but there are houses that decline to give and they would just say “Patawad” which means sorry. The carolers are not only the kids but the adults as well. The songs are in English and Tagalog. Some carolers have instruments but mostly, especially the kids, they just sing with no instrument.
