Radio station DZRH is the perennial proponent of drama on radio. But DZMM now has a radio drama during noon time. In those drama you will learn the native Tagalog such as Irog for sweetheart or Nililiyag for a girl being courted. Dining table is Hapag and so many other words that are native to Tagalog speakers.

Our house has the sound of the radio in the morning as a way to wake us up for school. In the afternoon when I come home there was the radio drama on the radio that my grandparents were listening to. They say that it is better than watching tv because the radio is the genuine reflection of Filipino life. Unfortunately the tv eclipsed the popularity of the radio.
