I already knew that January means Enero and August means Agosto but I didn't know the rest.

Because of the Spanish Influence we call our months like this. Philippines actually just change some of the spelling but the pronunciation somehow still related to Spanish.

Enero, febrero, marzo, abril, mayo, junio, julio, agosto, septiembre, octubure, noviembre, diciembre

I remember my mother singing me a lullaby when I was a toddler. Until now I remember that Calendar Song which I don’t really know the title. Anyway, it is a short song that enumerates the months of the year.
    Enero, Pebrero, Marso, Abril Mayo
    Hunyo,. Hulyo, Agosto, Setyembre, Oktubre
    Nobyembre, Disyember, Nube-nube.
That last word is not a month and probably was only included to make a rhyme.
