This parade is held in Balayan, province of Batangas every June 24 in honor of St. John the Baptist. Countless of lechons are carried on motorized carts and being paraded all over town. In the later part of the route, the public can get some parts to eat. But take note that everyone in the street is susceptible to getting wet because throwing water on the people is the tradition in that festival.

My friends from Batangas are very proud of this event called Parada ng Lechon. It is their way of bragging about their nice lechon which have a crispy skin and delicious meat. The parade never fails to have the media and some celebrities to join so that the event will be more memorable.
