One of our favorite dishes, the Kare-kare is a beef dish eaten with shrimp paste called Bagoong. The ingredients are 1 kilo of beef, choose your part, ground peanut, ground rice, onion, garlic, salt, red coloring. Tenderize the beef in the pressure cooker. Saute the garlic and onion then add stock from the pot of beef. When boiling, add the peanut and rice little by little while stirring very well. When all the ingredients are dissolved, add salt to the taste and the food coloring. That’s it. Have the steamed rice ready for best results.
