The Bampire is obviously the local version of vampire. But unlike Dracula whose victims are mostly female, the Bampira is an attractive woman who preys on the unsuspecting guys. There also the bite on the neck and the sipping of blood. The victim becomes another vampire.

The Bungisngis can be likened to the laughing hyena. Bungisngis literally means gigble which the character does. It scares people with its mischievous giggling although there was bo clear harm except the scaring. The giggling is to drive away the people from its territory.

The Wakwak is similar to Tiktik that is a creature what monitors women who are pregnant, lurking and waiting for a chance to suck the inside of the bulging tummy. It is said that Wakwak can get the baby by splitting open the tummy of the mother who will die instantly. Cases of Wakwak victims were reported in the olden times although no concrete proof was found.
