Tagalog words with no direct English translation

    Some of the Tagalog words which have no direct translation in English are mostly verbs like Kilig which means tickled pink by a crush and Lambing which is seeking favor in a playful manner. Tampo is the word to use when you are slightly jilted and Gigil is being too eager or avid.

    Some more verbs for the topic are Pitik which uses the fingernail to hit someone in any part of the body while Kutos is to hit someone on the head. Pasma is actually the effect of over fatigue. Pagpag is cleansing a blanket or a sheet of crumbs. Lihi or Paglilihi is the caprice of a pregnant woman to ask favors from people.
